About Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson County
Our Club offers a safe and enjoyable alternative for kids when schools are closed, ensuring they are not home alone. With a commitment since 1954 to serving the youth in Madison, IN, our programs run during after-school hours, holiday breaks, and summer break, catering to over 130 youth daily. We pride ourselves on three core program areas – Healthy Lifestyles, Academic Success, and Good Character & Active Citizenship. At our Club, we believe in diverse approaches to help kids succeed, relying on caring mentors, a consistent and safe environment, and innovative, quality programs. We go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to ensure all kids have a great future.

89% of Club youth said they can stand up for what is right; 91% of Club youth reported that as a leader, they make sure everyone feels important.
75% of regularly attending members said they volunteered in their community, Club, school or neighborhood at least once in the past year.
97% of Club teens expect to graduate from high school and 80% had submitted an application to a post-secondary education.
